We offer driver education for Greenwood, Bargersville, Franklin and surrounding cities!
Where Are We?
Our mission is to provide each student with the necessary information and skills to become a lifelong safe, responsible driver. We will strive to provide a friendly, inviting atmosphere and encourage parents to partner with us to help make their son or daughter’s driver education experience as positive and enjoyable as possible.
Our Instructor - Holli Terrell
Holli Terrell is the Health/PE Department Chair at Franklin Community High School. She has taught at FCHS for 34 years. She is involved with student mentors and several school committees. During her career at FCHS, she has been a Student Council advisor, Head Tennis Coach, Assistant Softball Coach, Assistant Girls Basketball Coach, Assistant Swim Coach, and Middle School Track Coach. Holli resides in Center Grove and has two grown sons.
Holli worked at Road Skills Driver Education in Franklin for 7 years. She taught all of the classroom sessions at Road Skills in addition to doing drive lessons with students. She has taught students to drive that had difficulty with communication due to the language barrier and students with disabilities. Holli has also had the pleasure of teaching many adults to drive for the first time or to regain their driving independence after an illness.
DRIVER EDUCATION IS TWO PARTS - 30 HOURS OF CLASSROOM (IN OUR CLASSROOM OR OUR ONLINE COURSE) AND 6 HOURS OF DRIVING INSTRUCTION. IF A STUDENT TAKES OUR ONLINE COURSE, NO PAYMENT IS DUE UNTIL YOU COME IN TO OUR OFFICE TO SIGN UP. AT THAT TIME, AT LEAST HALF OF THE PAYMENT IS DUE FOR THE CLASSROOM AND DRIVING PORTION. STUDENTS MUST PASS A WRITTEN TEST AT THE BMV TO GET THEIR LEARNER PERMIT. WE SUGGEST YOU COMPLETE MOST, IF NOT ALL, OF THE ONLINE COURSE BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO TAKE THE TEST. THE ONLINE COURSE AND OUR CLASSROOM COURSE WILL HELP YOU PREPARE FOR THE TEST.
